Q + A

Is there a dress code?

We would love our friends and family to get slighlty dessed up with us. Think dressy casual. As for shoes--- The floor is rocky (think Rome/Italy cobblestone) so your best bet is anything other than stilettos. Feel free to wear wedges or thicker heels. Hiking boots are also allowed :) let’s try to refrain from wearing our hiking outfits, though =)

What do I need to remember to pack?

The essentials are: SUNSCREEN, sunglasses, hiking shoes, PASSPORTS, International CONVERTERS, Swiss Francs are always nice to have but not mandatory, Aloe (for sunburns). Windbreakers! You never know when rain will come. Umbrellas will be given out to all wedding guests. *I always bring baby/face wipes and a toothbrush in my carry-on backpack so I can feel clean during/after the long flights! Praying for all your luggage to arrive safely and timely!

What will the weather be like?

at the top of the Alps is kinda unpredictable, as it is sunny one second and then pouring rain the next although rain or thunderstorms usually come in the evenings; historically between 40-70 degrees Fahrenheit each day/night, and we are hoping for no rain on this day-----however we are providing umbrellas in case, just be sure you are feeling waterproof on this day :)

What cities are nearby?

Interlaken is about a 20-minute drive away. I highly recommend staying in this town also if you want Swiss feels but less secluded. .You can ride the train to Lauterbrunnen which is the base of the cable car.
